Happy Early Fall Everyone!

The cooler weather that has been coming through Asheville has been the perfect reminder that we will be starting up our Hot Lunch soon (probably in October).  Our Hot Lunch is a perfect way for our cooks to stay creative and to give you a nice warm and hearty meal during the cold months.  The Hot Lunch, the Soups of the Day and the Daily Specials are available for you to review daily here

Also, to make dinner easy for you and your family, check out our casseroles and lasagnas menu here. Give us a call a day ahead to place your order!  828.252.1500. The lasagnas and casseroles are all made from scratch and with love from us to you.

Happy Sweater Weather everyone!

Thank you!

Thank you to all of our customers who came in between August 31st and September 2nd (we decided to add a day!) to raise funds for folks in the Houston area.  We raised $200 for the Houston Area Food Bank and $200 for the Houston Humane Society.

Now Hiring.

We are hiring smiling faces and positive attitudes for Full & Part Time positions for our Front of House team!  Front of House folks are responsible for helping with catering prep, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and lots of customer service, among other responsibilities.  These positions must be filled by someone who is passionate about made from scratch cooking, family-friendly customer service, having fun but being professional at work and working hard.   If you or someone you know is interested, please email [email protected] with a resume.

A recent story…

Adam and Old Friends

As a small business owner you never know who might walk through your front door. This past summer I was pleasantly surprised by a visit from a very special couple, Pat and Agnes Roach from Winston-Salem. They popped in for breakfast one quiet morning.  My mom insists all her friends stop by 67 for a meal when visiting Asheville.  (Thanks Mom!).  I’m always glad when it happens. This couple has been friends of our family for as long as I can remember.  They were close to us when I lost my father at the age of 11. Pat was a role model and friend during those emotional times.  And it just so happens that Agnes, a smart and talented woman all her own, actually employed me in my first ever food job! Before her current career in real estate, she ran her own catering business out of her house. She hired me to help her with a few gigs from time to time. I was about 16 years-old at the time and remember tasting those delicious Philippino inspired dishes.  Little did I know at the time that those were the first glimpses of my own future career. Funny how life works out. It was great for me to catch up with both of them and to share some memories!

Come in your Sunday best or just drag that bed-head on into the supper table, we aren’t here to judge. Our cooks will be serving up 4 hefty courses of breakfast goodness to pair with Queen of Wines finest sparkling wines from small batch vineyards of France, and champagne cocktails by Dirty Spoon’s Jonathan Ammons using North Carolina’s Fair Game Beverage fruit Tippers.

The afternoon will kick off with some sparkling wine and Hors D’oeuvres before sliding into a leisurely family style brunch of four scratch made courses. Each course will be paired with fine sparkling wines from family owned vineyards imported by the Triangle’s Queen of Wines, as well as 3 hand-crafted sparkling wine cocktails using Fair Game’s fortified Apple, Peach, and Scuppernong wines — locally sourced fruit tippers, meant for mixed beverages. Each diner will be able to take home the recipes of each cocktail to recreate them for their own guests. Seating is limited to 45 seats, so make your reservation now!
