About Catering in our “Gathering Room”
We can accommodate small groups during the business hours of our Eatery 8am-6pm. We can also accommodate much larger and more private events in the evenings and weekends. All food and non-alcoholic beverages must be purchased from 67 Biltmore. We will work with you to determine the best foods for your event. From simple menus like muffins and coffee to more elaborate plated events and everything in between, we’ll help you create the right menu for your needs.
Daytime events / 8am – 6pm / Monday – Saturday / Up to 25 guests:
We can host events during our regular business hours in the Eatery. Our Gathering Room is located in the back area of our cafe. It is a semi-private space and can be separated by a large curtain. The daytime rental fee includes your reservation time as well as the use of our tables and chairs.
Our daytime reservation fee is $100 per hour. China, silver, glassware and linen napkins are available for $4-8 per person. Disposable dishes are available for $2-4 per person. Food and beverage pricing is additional. No outside food or beverage is allowed.

After hours events / Available after 7pm / Monday – Saturday / Sunday anytime / Up to 100 guests :
Our space is available for evening events that begin after 7pm and Sundays at anytime. There is a $250 charge for the space after hours. There is also no time restraint on after hour events. If you would like your event to start before 7 please contact us for pricing.
After hours guest capacity:
~70 guest maximum for a cocktail party, plated & served dinner or a family style meal. Additional table rental maybe needed for dinners of this size.
~ 60 guest maximum for dinner buffet
~ 100 guest maximum for drop-in events such as after wedding brunches where folks are not all here at one time
We do require service staff for after hours events in our space. You will have access to the entire eatery area. Staffing will be organized according to the specific needs of your event. Food and beverage costs will vary according to your menu choices. We are happy to coordinate the right foods for your event. There is also an $4-8 per person charge which includes all china, silver, glassware and linen napkins and is based on the needs of your event. If you would rather use clear plastic disposable dishes, they are available for $2-4 per person. If you’d like tablecloths, different tables, different chairs, or flowers we are happy to provide them at an additional cost.
We must provide a bartender if any alcohol is served. This goes for beer, wine and/or specialty cocktails. Alcohol cannot be served before 12pm on Sundays.
We cannot provide alcohol but you are welcome to bring in your own. A permit is not needed for beer and/or wine. Our fine friends and next-door neighbors at the Asheville Wine Market are happy to help you pick out delicious selections that work with your menu.
We do not allow a full bar at events at 67 Biltmore Gathering Room, however you are welcome to offer a Specialty Cocktail. If your specialty cocktail contains liquor, you will need to complete and submit a Special Events Permit application to the NCABC. We need the permit 48 hours before the event. Please note that the permit application process takes 14-30 days. If we do not have a copy of the permit prior to the event then we cannot serve liquor.
